DD-WRT is Linux-based firmware for wireless routers and access points.Originally designed for the Linksys WRT54G series, it now runs on a wide variety of models.DD-WRT is one of a handful of third-party firmware projects designed to replace manufacturer's original firmware with custom firmware offering additional features or functionality. The latest Build I have installed and verified is 28000M. Results below are using this build via link in first post. Word to the wise: 1. Reset to defaults in Netgear firmware, reboot. 2. I'm mmm mm, isn't DD-wrt like not being supported like LEDE?. That was my impression, i will be using David's build on my WRT1900AC/v2, as he is going to be releasing a new build with the latest wifi driver, kernel and other sources, that fixes 1200 series, 1900 series (not the AC/v1) and 3200 series v1 & v2.
SFE accelerated NAT was added to DD-WRT since build 33006 (kernel 3.10+), which Kong tested at 900 Mb/s throughput (download and upload). OEM firmware uses Broadcom's proprietary CTF (Cut-Through Forwarding). Throughput with IPv4 NAT routing tops out at: 450Mb/s on latest Netgear stock firmware 360Mb/s on non-SFE DD-WRT (default configuration) - *.bin files can only be flashed from dd-wrt webif. - *.chk can be flashed from Netgear factory fw and from dd-wrt webif - I don't provide factory to dd-wrt for non Netgear models since I do not own any non Netgear Broadcom units. All builds include ddup util, which allows update checking and flashing of the following models: Netgear EX6200

Like Kong’s newer builds, Fractal’s builds are also based on the central DD-WRT source code, but with a primary focus on rolling builds for Broadcom-based hardware, especially the newer Cisco/Linksys routers.
